Atari has announced that Ghostbusters: The Video Game prepares its North American release on 16 June 2009, followed by its release throughout the world on June 19. Working in conjunction with Sony Photographs Consumer Items and acclaimed developer Terminal Reality and Firefly, Atari brings a whole new chapter of the hit series Ghostbusters on-line games to new consoles to coincide with the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the theatrical release of the film
